Cara Box Reveal

So I am a little bit belated on my reveal, but between travelling and my package coming internationally...sorry bout it;)

But is was worth the wait...I loved what I got. Before I go on, a little about my partners for the month.
This was my first time participating in the Cara Box exchange and I am so very glad I did. I really enjoyed getting to know both of my girls. I really recommend that everyone try it out, at least for one month! Our theme this month was resolutions, which at first I wondered how to incorporate that into a box, but I think the three of us were all in the same page, trying to "pamper" ourselves a bit.

First up is Morgan from Modern Mommyhood, if you want to see what was in my box to her, click here.
She is mommy to Mabel, and on the day of love, she will be turning one. Yay for Valentine's baby;) Morgan is really endearing and I love catching up on her posts. I am just hoping she gets away for a wine night soon;) But maybe the coffee from Dunkin will help in the meantime.

and the person who sent to me was Ashlee and you can find her over @ Laugh With Ash. She is a military wife and that has taken hr overseas to Japan for the time being. I imagine it is really exciting...but at times super stressful. We chatted up about her hometown and how I had been there for work before and got to know each other over a few other topics.

and here is the goodness that was trapped in my box, that came an extremely long distance and I am so glad it did. I wonder if my special box o'goodies traveled the farthest on it's venture? haha

The first thing that I noticed when I opened the box was this sweet postcard.
My favorite part is the bit from "The Help" think it was my favorite part of the package. Really sweet touch and made me smile!

My goodies! (for some reason...a Fergie song just popped into my head;)

This box of fun contained a homemade brown sugar scrub(can you say, 'Yes, Please?!') and a cute spoon to go with it, some facial masks, hello kitty nail files, a bottle of 'buy me a cameo' nail polish by Essie, a cute key chain and gobs of candy. So much of mine had Japanese elements in it and I love everything she sent me. Good choices, Ash!

Thanks so much to the both of you for letting me in on your worlds.
Can't wait for next months!

  4. How fun! I love that line from "The Help" and I think we should all have that as a mantra, everyday.
